Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, we're offering AimeePOP for free on the sites of organizations that are aligned with our mission. Our intention is to always provide a free service, though we we may develop a fee-based service with voice or video calling in the future.
Is user data private?
Yes. We do not store user chat data. We do not train our model on user data. User privacy is important to us. See our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Aimee Pop Terms of Service for more details.
Do you collect data for funding purposes?
Several organizations have requested basic demographic details about users for funding purposes. To that end, we present an optional survey after 1 minute of chat that asks the user for demographic information.
Is it difficult to install?
AimeePOP is installed by inserting as little as one line of JavaScript code in the footer of your site. Little to no maintenance is required.
Some content management systems may require higher level subscriptions to embed Aimee Pop. We're here to help. An Aimee Says staff member can jump on a call, take the reins, and help with installation.
Do we get any reporting on users?
Aimee Says will deliver basic reports back to partner organizations periodically including details like number of users, average duration, average chats sent. We do not report on user chat messages, as we don't have that data. We also provide optional demographic data for reporting.
What about our liability?
Aimee Says is a third party provider to your organization. We're responsible for the quality of our service. The Aimee Pop Terms of Service Apply.
How to get started
As the initial pilot program concludes, we will begin rolling out AimeePOP to more organizations - roughly in November of 2024. To ensure a quality experience, we'll gradually increase the number of partner organizations.
